וַיְהִי֩ כִשְׁמֹ֨עַ אֲחִיָּ֜הוּ אֶת־ק֤וֹל רַגְלֶ֙יהָ֙ בָּאָ֣ה בַפֶּ֔תַח וַיֹּ֕אמֶר בֹּ֖אִי אֵ֣שֶׁת יָרָבְעָ֑ם לָ֣מָּה זֶּ֗ה אַ֚תְּ מִתְנַכֵּרָ֔ה וְאָ֣נֹכִ֔י שָׁל֥וּחַ אֵלַ֖יִךְ קָשָֽׁה׃
Und als Ahijah das Geräusch ihrer Füße hörte, als sie an der Tür eintrat, sagte er: 'Komm herein, du Frau Jerobeams. Warum täuschst du dich, ein anderer zu sein? denn ich bin mit schwerer Botschaft zu dir gesandt.
